Apple iPhone Unlocking Software imminent release


Apple iPhone’s Unlocking Software to get subscribers out from AT&T’s system might be released soon. I just wonder if they will lock it when they launch it in Asia since pirates are pretty techie in that part of the world.


Apple’s iPhone, released in the United States two months ago, was engineered to operate for the first two years only on the AT&T system through an exclusive arrangement between Apple and AT&T. It has not yet been sold outside of the U.S.

Los Angeles software consultant Brett Schulte, who is not affiliated with the developers, demonstrated the software for CNN Friday evening.

New 8GB Apple iPhone


Apple has announced it will be cutting the price of the top iPhone model by $200, discontinuing the lower-end model and unveiling a new version of its popular iPod media player with wireless Internet capability and other features. The new 8-gigabyte iPhone will sell for $399 while the old 4-gigabyte iPhone model, which sold for $399, will be discontinued. Looks like Steve Jobs, the Apple CEO wants the iPhone in a lot of stockings this coming holiday season like Christmas.

3G iPod nano review roundup


Well, that was fast -- just two days after Steve pulled one out of his pocket, reviews of the newest iPod nano are filtering in, and they seem to be overwhelmingly positive. Everyone seems to be digging the fatty's battery life, price, and diminutive size, but the overall proportions dictated by the 2-inch screen drew some complaints. That screen also received praise for its clarity and sharpness, but watching video on such a small device seems to invite some awkward neck angles -- shocking, we know. Overall, however, it looks like Apple's got another hit on its hands -- fatty pride, y'all.
